When undertaking any professional training, whether in first aid, health and safety, or food compliance, you need qualifications that are nationally recognised and quality-assured. Qualsafe Awards offers just that across a wide range of courses, making it a top choice for employers and individuals seeking accredited training to satisfy all of their training requirements and any legal requirements.
Qualsafe Awards is an awarding organisation recognised by Ofqual to develop and regulate qualifications across the UK. Founded in 2007 by experts passionate about high standards in skills training, Qualsafe has gained a reputation for excellence in regulated qualifications.
With a commitment to rigorous quality assurance and assessment, Qualsafe aims to maintain confidence in the consistent delivery of qualifications for crucial skills. Training centres (such as ours) approved to offer Qualsafe accredited courses must adhere to stringent requirements around trainer expertise, teaching practices, and internal auditing.
Last year, HSE (Health and Safety Executive) updated The Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981 which now emphasises on selecting accredited and well-regulated training programs (such as ours) which signifies quality assurance in ensuring effective first aid training. It streamlined the selection process and the quality assurance focus, along with the suitability of trainers and blended learning, which aimed to make training compliance simpler for employers by setting very clear standards for delivery and course content. The employers must be confident in the training provider’s ability to deliver high quality training with appropriate content that meets legal guidelines, use suitable qualified trainers and assessors, and have relevant and robust quality assurance systems in place. Opting for a recognised Qualsafe centre brings key advantages:
- Nationally Approved Training – Courses meet official, regulated learning objectives and assessment criteria. Certification is valid UK-wide.
- Expert Trainers – Qualsafe trainers undergo extensive approval and development to deliver skills training confidently and effectively.
- Quality Assured Content – All course materials and resources are designed by specialist Qualsafe teams to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Compliance Focus – Training is developed around current legislation, regulations, and employer requirements.
- Ongoing Support – Learners have access to the Qualsafe Academy learning portal for reference and refresher resources.Choosing accredited training gives you confidence that you are gaining the highest standard of industry-recognised qualifications.
