On Tuesday the 17th April a staff member of Accolade Wines (an Acorn Customer) was out walking when there was a sudden commotion in a garage.
He offered assistance and there was a man collapsed inside, he assessed his condition, the gentleman was unconscious and not breathing so started CPR and waited for the ambulance. Paramedics arrived and a helicopter and took the patient to hospital. That evening the first aider received a phone call from the doctor to thanking him for saving the man’s life. Stories like this are unfortunately rare however remind us all that early, effective CPR does make a difference.
