Throughout the year, we regularly run evening 2 hour long infant and child resuscitation courses at our premises in Warmley, Bristol. This course is open to anyone interested in learning these valuable and potentially lifesaving skills. All we ask for in return is a £5 donation to MNDA (Motor Neurone Disease Association) Acorn lost a family member to Motor Neurone Disease. Since that day, as a company, we want to do everything we can to raise as much money as possible to go towards future research in the hope to find a cure.
The next course is on 16th October 2025 7-9pm and pre booking is essential as this course is often fully booked.
We will have 16 spaces on each course, and to secure your place all you have to do is donate £5 to The Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA) via our Just Giving page. Please make sure you do not donate anonymously if you want to attend the course as we will not be able to reserve your space without your details.
The courses is delivered by knowledgeable and enthusiastic trainers all of whom hold adult teaching qualifications supported by a professional qualification and considerable, hands on practical experience which is reflected in our grounded, pragmatic approach. This course programme employs a variety of teaching techniques to meet the needs of individual delegates and includes the following:
- Resuscitation
- Choking

Owing to the practical nature of this course a basic level of general fitness is required. Delegates must be physically able to carry out the procedures detailed in the course outline. Should you have any questions relating to the accessibility of this course please don’t hesitate to get in touch. Unfortunately children are unable to attend this training.
